OFF TO DENMARK

Annually since 2004 the Way Up North Festival has presented the best North Jutland bands and artists on three stages at Studenterhuset. And every year, a select group of industry professionals from Denmark, Northern Europe and, of course, the Aalborg audience are invited. It's a really cool weekend and event coming up. 

From the start, Way Up North has been a platform for presenting the best from the live scene in Northern Jutland. This year we're proud to be part of the event and will present Himlen Bror, Boy With Apple and Swedish Love Story to our neighbours, over the weekend 10-11 of November. Over the years, names such as The Blue Van, Oh No Ono, Figurines, Tone, Johny Hefty, Mnemic, Mercenary, The Courettes and Farveblind took some of their early steps on stage at Way Up North.

The two-day Way Up North Festival is followed up with a presentation of selected bands at a number of other festivals, such as Spot Festival and indeed, Viva Sounds, as the danes makes it over to Gothenburg early December. If in Aalborg, you know where to be.
