Guitars! Glory! Good vibes!

The sun came out, the people came out - and so did the summer vibes. The worlds ever second edition of Viva Summer Sounds hit just right – a near sell-out, buzzing atmosphere, and a lineup that brought fire from start to finish. From local heroes to international rock’n’roll chaos, this was a great night!

What a ride! Viva Summer Sounds brought the heat to Musikens Hus and Hängmattan — almost sold out and full of smiles and killer shows. Local heroes Del III, Wolfschmidt and Babysun showed just how much indie gold is hiding right here in Gothenburg. From Oslo, Moshi Moshi and the Moist Boys cranked up the energy at Hängmattan and left nothing behind.

And what about those Wine Lips?
Almost ridiculous and seriously entertaining, the Canadian masters of playful rock tore the roof off and reminded us all that guitars are back. Crowdsurfing, circel pits, tongues in cheeks and nothing but the best of times! 

Thanks to everyone who came out — Viva Summer Sounds will definitely be back next year. But first: all eyes on Viva Sounds this November. More glory, more noise, more of all the good stuff you know and love. See you then!
