We breathed fire!

Viva Sounds 2024 brought the world to Gothenburg, turning the city into a vibrant crossroads of music, creativity and (independent) industry. With talent from near and far and people from all walks of life we celebrated the power of connection and the magic of live music. We celebrated together!

Smiling faces from 22 nations filled our streets, packed our clubs, and brought the Viva Sounds spirit to life. With 14 stages showcasing incredible performances and a buzzing conference packed with highlights – from Simon Williams’ keynote to the fiery panels – it was a weekend that truly delivered on our mission. And oh, we put live music on the tram line of our city as well. 

By connecting Gothenburg to the world, we serve as a bridge for local talent to meet and impress industry representatives from across the globe, while also bringing a wide range of international artists and professionals to our city. The dragon roared louder than ever, championing kinship, collaboration and creativity in every corner.

We can’t wait to welcome you back to Gothenburg next year, November 27-29, for Viva Sounds 2025.
