SPRING AHOY

Although sitting still and doing nothing is nice for a short while over Christmas and holiday season, it's feels better to just dive headfirst into what's to come. First half of 2024 is upon us and we hope to crack the ice with the weight of activity. Here's what's coming.

It's always nice to pick up some early heat in January, and no better way than to visit Eurosonic in Groningen, The Netherlands, starting this Wednesday, January 17. A long list of artists combined with a heavy conference schedule makes this event one of the most interesting ones in Europe.

Glancing to the east and we got both Electric Hydra and Upploppet making their way to Finland in February. And just a few days before that Agaton and Pineal Glace will visit our long standing friends in NAAM, Barroselas, Portugal, for their 25th year anniversary series of concerts.

Boy With Apple and Melody Fields are both up for the majestic The New Colossus Festival on The Lower East Side in New York, March 6-10. It's an overall great line-up of artists, with Boy With Apple being re-booked after two strong performances on festival's 2023 edition. Melody Fields were last seen on the Viva Sounds 2024 pre-party, now bringing their psych vibes across the Atlantic for what can only be described as a five days music super party.

Finishing this year's first three month period we got Boy With Apple playing the biggest of 'em all; SXSW, making their US adventure a bit longer. However, the year is long and April will follow up on March (as it usually does) with plenty of stuff to, again, dive headfirst into. But we'll get there soon.
