Big ideas need great company. That's why Westside (and Viva Sounds) has joined Crescendo – a four-year Creative Europe project connecting 12 independent music companies and organisations across 11 countries to help the next generation of European artists grow beyond borders.

The project brings together artists, songwriters, producers and industry professionals through international writing camps, creative residencies and long-term collaborations where new music, new partnerships and new opportunities are born. It's not just about making records. It's about building careers. From sync and publishing to international showcases, networking and market development, Crescendo is designed to help independent artists find new audiences across Europe. For Viva Sounds, it's a natural fit.

Our thing has always been to connect people, scenes and ideas. Joining Crescendo means more international collaborations, more exciting delegates, more opportunities for artists playing the festival, and an even stronger bridge between Gothenburg and the rest of Europe's independent music community. The killer stuff in music rarely happen in isolation.
