Annika grew up in Stockholm but studied project management in Gothenburg before graduating in 2013. She started working at the venue VEGA in Copenhagen pretty much right after and has been involved in booking the live program at VEGA for the last five years.
VEGA is located in the middle of Copenhagen and is the busiest concert venue in Denmark with approximately 370 concerts a year and +700 bands on stage. The venue got three stages with the cap ranging from 200 to 450 to 1550 and presents a diverse program filled with new talents and established legends within rock, pop, hip hop, electronic and world music.
VEGA as a venue has been defining the Danish venue landscape for more than two decades and plays a crucial role in breaking local and international artists to bigger audiences in Denmark. It’s recognized as one of the leading concert venues in Europe and not only due to optimal audio and lightning conditions but also because the building is an exciting architectural gem from the 1950. VEGA embraces everything from the intimate live show to the bigger crowds and have presented legends like David Bowie, Amy Winehouse, Noel Gallagher, Foo Fighters, Björk, Coldplay, Prince, Lady Gaga and Willie Nelson to name but a few.
